John P. Kowalski, M.D., was born in Oregon. He later lived in 

 Indiana prior to becoming a Virginian. He received his B.A. and 

 MD. degrees from the University of Virginia. Dr. Kowalski 

 completed his residency at First Colonial Family Practice in 

 Virginia Beach. This program was in the Medical College of 

 Virginia system. He has practiced in Richmond since 1984. 

 Dr. Kowalski is Board Certified in Family Practice. He is a 

 member of the American Academy Of Family Practice, the 

 Southern Medical Association and the Medical Society of Virginia. 

 He is an assistant clinical professor in the MCV Department of 

 Family Practice.                        

Dr. Kowalski enjoys sports, model railroading, traveling, music 

 and reading.
